Mt. Masada is the top Women's team after beating Seahawks 19-5 in the Women's 1st and 2nd ranking playoff on the first day of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Both teams came into the tournament as favourites and both finished on top of their respective pools.

Mt. Masada showed their class as they outsmarted the Seahawks' defence to score 3 tries and 2 conversions while Seahawks managed to score only one converted try.

The Mt. Masada side is the shadow team of the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team preparing for the upcoming HSBC Hong Kong 7s.

In other Women’s playoff matches, Army Women edged CK's Eazy Buy Marist 1 12-10 while Savusavu beat CK's Easy Buy Marist 2 10-0.
