Mothers are the heart beat of every home - Seruiratu

A mother is a teacher, a doctor, a confidant, a chef, a protector, a guide, and the very heartbeat of the home.

This has been shared by the Opposition Leader Inia Seruiratu as we celebrate Mother’s Day today.

Seruiratu says mothers are the silent architect of peoples character, the steadfast pillar in their struggles, and the unwavering source of love that never falters.

He stresses that as people celebrate Mother’s Day today let us remember that every single day is, in truth, a mother’s day.

The Leader of Opposition says their sacrifices do not end when the sun sets, nor does their love wane with time and people must honour, cherish, and love them always - not just in words, but in actions, in the way we care for them as they have cared for us.

Seruiratu says to all mothers - today and every day, we say thank you for being the foundation on which families and communities stand strong.
