Mother saves children from house fire
A 29 year old woman is counting her lucky stars after she managed to save her children following an explosion that destroyed their house in Lawaki village, Lautoka.

The incident is alleged to have occurred when one of the occupants a 29 year old woman was at home with her three children.

She had taken one of her children out when there was a loud explosion from one of the bedrooms.

The mother of three rushed back inside to get the rest of the children before alerting the Fire authority.

The cost of damage is $50,000 and the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
