More rain expected
Expect more rain as an active trough of low pressure is lying slow moving to the west of Fiji associated with cloud and rain bands affecting the group.

A duty forecaster at the Nadi weather office said that there are possibilities of flooding of low lying areas thus people should start taking precautionary measures from now.

He said people can expect heavy rain at times as well as thunderstorm over most places in the country.

Weather is expected to ease by later Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile DISMAC is calling on people to restrict their movement as they are receiving reports that there is flooding in certain areas.

It said that due to heavy rain, Yaladro Flats and Mataniwai Road is under flood water and closed to all traffic.

It said access to Nabuna village is also closed due to flooding.
