The Momi resort re-development project

The Momi resort re-development project is expected to be launched by Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama this Thursday.

More jobs are expected to be created with this huge project getting underway.

The Fiji National Provident Fund has already signed an agreement with Marriott International Incorporated to manage a 250 room Fiji Marriott Resort at Momi Bay.

The resort is expected to open in 2016.

Marriott International has more than 4,000 properties in more than 80 countries.

Meanwhile FNPF’s Chief Investment Officer, Jaoji Koroi had earlier stated that FNPF is expected to invest $300 million in committed projects in the next two years.

This includes the Momi Bay project.

Other stages in the Momi project include the residential feature.
