A meeting is expected to take place between the Sports Minister, Filipe Bole and a group of Fiji Rugby Union executives soon.
Bole has confirmed to Fijivillage that he has received a letter from FRU's Interim Chairman, Rafaele Kasibulu wanting to have dialogue with the government following the FRU lottery saga and the call for the board members to resign.
Bole said he is ready to meet with the FRU and states that the meeting will take place soon.
When contacted in the last hour, Kasibulu said he will comment later today.
Following his appointment yesterday, Kasibulu said the FRU wants to have the dialogue with the government as soon as possible to resolve all the issues.
He also said they will then assess the issue that has ended up in the courts in relation to the lottery.
Kasibulu said he is also aware of the government's announcement that it will only give $3M to the FRU for the Fiji team's preparation and participation at the Rugby World Cup if the current executives resign.
He said the FRU will reveal it's plans to the Minister when they meet.
