The Interim Prime Minister has today stressed that the freedom of the media is not restricted and the media should just report in a responsible and fair manner.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said some reports published by some media outlets may have crossed the line and is bordering on incitement.
He said these inciteful remarks by certain individuals will not be entertained and they will clean up this mess within the next few weeks.
Commodore Bainimarama said no one wants to see an uprising like 2000 and the media should ensure that they do not start a situation that may be disastrous for the nation.
