Many families spend Christmas public holiday outdoors.

The weather did not dampen the spirit of Christmas as many families made their way to My Suva Park to celebrate outdoors today while others have already made plans for tomorrow.

Titilia Baikirewa who came from Lautoka says she is in Suva to spend Christmas with her family in Wailoku.

She says they planned to have a family picnic today to get the children out of the house.

Baikirewa is planning to return to Lautoka tomorrow because she has work on Thursday.

Olive Rayawa says they are spending their Christmas holiday at My Suva Park so the children can spend some time outdoors.

She says it was hard for them to celebrate Christmas this year because their grandfather passed away last week.

We also spoke to other families.
