A 24 year old man has been remanded in custody for the alleged murder of a woman in her Tavua home.
Vinend Kumar appeared before Magistrate Samuela Qica yesterday charged with one count of murder.
Kumar pleaded guilty to one count of murder and the case has been transferred to the Lautoka High court.
The case will be called on the second of next month.
The woman was found dead in her home by a neighbour on Monday.
