Man remanded after allegedly breaking into the house of the Speaker of Parliament

A man who allegedly broke into the house of the Speaker of Parliament and former President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has been remanded in custody by the Nausori Magistrates Court.

36 year old Ratu Jone Latianara is charged with one count of theft and one count of aggravated burglary.

The case will be called again on the 25th of November and the case has been transferred to the Suva Magistrates Court.
