A man who went missing yesterday at Laucala Beach Estate is the country’s latest drowning victim.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri says that the man got off a taxi during the heavy rain, as he was walking to his home, he slipped and fell into a drain close by.
Sokomuri says that the man’s body was found near the Bailey Bridge.
He acknowledges members of the public who discovered the man’s body.
