A man has been convicted of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs by Judge Justice, Vinsent Perera this morning.
Justice Perera found Arisi Kaitani not guilty for the first count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs however he found Kaitani guilty for the second count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.
Kaitani cultivated 824 plants of marijuana on September 15th, 2016 in Kadavu.
The matter will be called at 2.30pm tomorrow for the sentencing hearing.
