The 24-year-old farmer who allegedly raped and sexually assaulted a Virgin Australia crew member in the early hours of New Year’s Day near a nightclub in Martintar, Nadi has been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court.
Ilaisa Tanoa from Bemana in Navosa is charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of rape.
Magistrate Mareta Tikoisuva has ordered Tanoa to file a proper bail application in the High Court.
The matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and will be called on the 20th of January.
