Great news for the people of Lautoka, as the Ministry of Health will be conducting the Free Medicine Programme Registration Drive from tomorrow to Wednesday at Vidilo House in Lautoka.

If you have not registered for the Free Medicine Programme Card, you are encouraged to bring a valid photo ID.

The Ministry says the card allows Fijians to access selected medicines at participating pharmacies under the Free Medicine Programme.

The 3-day drive will begin from 8.30am to 4pm.

According to the Health Ministry, the Free Medicine Program provides 140 items, including 136 medicinal products and 4 consumable items, free of charge to eligible individuals.

This program assists those earning less than $20,000 per year, including dependents.

Eligible individuals can access these medications from both government and participating private pharmacies.
