Lorraine Rigamoto of Raiwaqa is the lucky winner of the first Win Together Sweeptakes vaccine lottery draw where she took home $8000.

104,000 fully vaccinated Fijians had applied to enter the competition.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama conducted the draw in the presence of Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho last night.

The application window for this draw was open for 60 hours with one application per phone.

Bainimarama has congratulated Rigamoto and thanked her for being fully vaccinated.

The Prime Minister says with more than 96% of the adults in Fiji having received the first dose of the vaccine, we are well on our way to a Fiji that is more safer.

He adds fully vaccinated Fijians will be eligible to enter the next draw on Fiji Day.

Bainimarama says they will be awarding a total of $51,000 to 10 winners, with each person taking home $5,100.

He says this will be in honor of our 51st anniversary of independence.
