Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says the single best way to show you care about your mother is to stay home.

He says Fijians that live with their mum should stay home and do not have others over.

Bainimarama says if your mother does not live with you, call her and tell her how important it is that we all stay home to keep ourselves safe.

He is also asking everyone to remember the sacrifice of our mothers on the frontline.

Bainimarama says we cannot risk spreading this deadly disease to anyone, most especially the elderly and those most vulnerable.
