Let the coaches do their job, avoid uttering negative comments towards the players and let us keep supporting them.

Those were the words of Fiji 7s legend Waisale Serevi while sending his best wishes to the Fiji Water Flying Fijians team ahead of their crucial match against Portugal in their final 2023 Rugby World Cup pool game on Monday.

While referring to the loss against Wales in their first pool match, Serevi says rugby will always be like that but the boys have learnt from their mistakes and have improved which was witnessed against the Wallabies and Georgia.

He says the journey has been tough for the team ever since the start of the World Cup but they played well.

Serevi is encouraging the boys to put their trust in God.

He adds the whole of Fiji and the supporters around the globe are happy with the team’s achievement so far and he has sent out his best wishes to the team and is confident that the team will secure a win and qualify for the quarter finals.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians only need one point against Portugal to secure their place in the quarter finals as the second-placed team from Pool C.

The Flying Fijians will take on Portugal at 7am next Monday in Toulouse.
