Lautoka has successfully defended their Digicel Fiji FACT title after beating Navua 1 nil at Subrail Park.

They were tied nil all at half time.

Lautoka’s Sairusi Nalaubu headed the lone goal through Aporosa Yada’s free-kick in the 82nd minute.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Nalaubu says he told the players not to give up until the last minute of the match.

Lautoka President Shalendra Prasad says they are very happy as they finished the tournament unbeaten.

He says it was the team’s hard work that got them the win and there is more to come this year.

Lautoka’s Saula Waqa was red carded after a scuffle with a Navua player.

They beat hosts Labasa 1-0 yesterday while Navua beat Ba 2-0 to reach the final.
