Lautoka Basketball Association competition returns after a lapse of many years

After a lapse of many years, the Lautoka Basketball Association opened their basketball season in a grand style yesterday.

8 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams are part of the competition.

While opening the competition, Basketball Fiji President Ioane Naivalurua stated that seeing the re-activation of the Lautoka Association basketball competition was a good start point.

Naivalurua encouraged the players to always seek to improve their skills and all capability as the season progresses.

The Lautoka Basketball Association competition continues on a weekly basis till June prior to the upcoming Fiji Championships being organized by Basketball Fiji.
