Lateef and Moore’s plea deferred till next week

Former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef and Zoe Maharaj Moore who are charged with drug possession will take their plea next Wednesday.

They were supposed to take their plea before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili this morning but that did not take place because Moore was not present in court.

According to the consolidated charges, Lateef and Moore were allegedly found with 0.0063 grams of methamphetamine on the 14th of August last year in Raiwai.

They were also allegedly found with marijuana.
