The body of the late Tui Vuda and former President Ratu Josefa Iloilo has arrived at the chiefly village of Viseisei.

The bare chest traditional warriors of the Tui Vuda or the Bati Liganikau have their faces painted black and carrying war clubs are currently guarding every corner of the village, keeping a watch that all traditional protocols are followed.
Women of Vuda are also dressed in black attire and are seated inside and outside Viseisei.
The men of Vuda have put the finishing touches to the chiefly burial ground or the "sau tabu" called the "Burenivalu" where Ratu Iloilo will be laid to rest on Thursday.
