The Labasa Hospital will now only be used for emergencies and deliveries -

The Ministry of Health says from today, all General Outpatient Department services at Labasa Hospital will be directed to the Nasea Health Centre.

The Ministry says the Labasa Hospital will now only be used for emergencies and deliveries, as well as being used as an isolation facility for COVID-19 cases.

Members of the public in the greater Labasa area are advised to go to Nasea Health Centre for common ailments.

The Ministry also says hospital visiting hours will now be reduced. There will only be one session of visitation, from 11am to 12pm daily. Visitors are also reduced to one per non-COVID-19 related patient.
