Jones working around the clock to put together formidable squad for first Bledisloe Cup match

With the first round of the Bledisloe Cup 2023 clash between the Wallabies and the All Blacks kicking off this weekend, Wallabies Head Coach Eddie Jones is working around the clock to put together a fomidable side to back up his words of warning the All Blacks of looking out.

After axing three of his high profiled players from the squad and the unavailability of veteran flanker and co-captain Michael Hooper, Jones is still optimistic of finding solutions to his squad dilemma.

Jones is now reportedly planning to exploit a loophole in the overseas player selection rules to recall former Australia test forward and Montpellier Hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa, to the mix.

Despite Rugby Australia usually permitting only three overseas-based players, there has already been 5 overseas based player being selected by Jones in his squad.

The Wallabies Coach has a daunting task of getting his team to register their first win before the Rugby World Cup in September.

The Wallabies will take on the All Blacks at 9.45pm Saturday in Melbourne.
