Its about time Pacific Islander team is included in Super Rugby-Jones

One of the most successful coaches of the Australian Wallabies and one of Australia's greatest broadcasters, Alan Jones said it is about time that the International Rugby Board stops the lip service and ensures that a combined Pacific Islander team is included in the Super Rugby competition.

Speaking to Fijivillage from his 2GB radio studio in Sydney, Jones said the IRB needs to ensure that the larger rugby nations do not continue to steal the best Pacific Island players.

Alan Jones is the last Wallabies coach to have won at Eden Park back in 1986 and since then the Australian rugby team has not been able to beat the All Blacks at their Auckland fortress.

Jones who is also best remembered for the Wallabies Grand Slam victories over England, Ireland, Wales, France and Scotland and a Barbarian side in 1984, believes that current Australian coach, Robbie Deans will not be able to win the Rugby World Cup for Australia.

We asked Jones whether the Wallabies will finally get a win at Eden Park in the Rugby World Cup, after a 25 year drought.
