Issues affecting our adolescent population and the issues which they have to face in their daily lives will be portrayed when the Senior Division finals of the FM96 Tadra Kahani with TFL and Legend FM kicks off this evening.
Between the ages of 13 to 19, teenagers are prone to explore things and sometimes they end up making life changing decisions without thinking of the consequences and often the teenagers are rejected by their families, relatives, peers and even their teachers.
First timers to Tadra Kahani, Cathedral Secondary School will highlight how a teenager's life can be destroyed through rejection.
Liaison Teacher Tepola Sogotubu said the dream story stage show has given them the opportunity to bring to the forefront one of the harsh realities of teenage life.
Student rep Ronda said adults need to realize what can happen to a teenager if he or she is rejected.
Tonight, Suva Grammar School, Rishikul Sanatan College, International Secondary School, Cathedral Secondary School, St Bedes College, All Saints Secondary School, Vunisea Secondary School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Tailevu North Secondary School, Namosi Secondary School, St Thomas High School, Basden College, Sila Central High School and defending Senior Division Champions Lomary Secondary School, will battle it out for top honors in the Senior Division which kicks off at 7pm at the Vodafone Arena.
International Primary School Suva were last night crowned the Junior Division Title winners of the FM 96 Tadra Kahani with TFL and Legend FM, and many of the schools are now hoping that their message has been taken on board by all present at the Vodafone Arena last night.
With the theme "Stop Typhoid", International School producer and Liason Teacher, Angela Mahone said getting their message across was the main aim of taking part in Tadra Kahani, adding the win was the icing on the cake.
Nakelo District School took home the Best Choreography, Best Back stage crew and the most entertaining performance awards.
Liaison teacher Niumaia Rawalai said they hope their message will make a difference and that everyone will learn from it.
