Investors Confident In Fiji Economy
Despite the global economic climate two investors have full confidence in the Fiji economy and have already pumped in $14 million off $140 million into its integrated residential and hotel project in Wainadoi.

The project owners Kevin Storey and Brent Gibson unveiled their plans this morning and revealed that "Pacific Point" will be the first ever Marina based project of its kind in Fiji,

70 percent of the residential lots have already been sold to citizens mainly in New Zealand, including Australia and the UK and Pacific Point will boast 100 square meters of luxurious homes, a hotel, medical center, shopping mall and a world class Marina. The developers said it will give Denarau Island a run for its money being located just 15 minutes out of Suva.

The reclamation work at the site has been underway for the past 14 months and has provided much needed employment for those from nearby villages and local contractors.

Meanwhile, Gibson also revealed that they are now setting up a trust fund for the villagers of Nabukavesi for education and infrastructure projects.

Construction at Pacific Point is expected to start in the next few months.
