The Interim Prime Minister has stressed that the interim government is now concentrating on the much needed changes to the Native Land Trust Board which will result in improved services.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said the NLTB needs to focus on its core services and ensure that the landowners and tenants are happy with the land deals being struck.
The Interim Prime Minister said there are also wrong messages being sent to the landowners that native land will be taken away from them when the People's Charter is formulated.
He stresses that all native land is protected under the constitution and the only action that will be taken by the interim government is to drastically improve the NLTB's services.
