Dave Rennie will be free to focus fully on his Wallabies duties next week after agreeing to leave Glasgow a month earlier than planned.

Rennie was initially slated to officially start with the Wallabies on July 1st, after Glasgow's Pro 14 and European campaigns finished up, though he has been in constant communication with assistants Scott Wisemantel and Matt Taylor while in Scotland.

With the coronavirus pandemic putting sport around the world on hold, the Warriors announced that Rennie had opted to hand over to Scotland assistant Danny Wilson a month early, ending his Scottish stint on June 1.

Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys said with Australian sport beginning to return and the Pro14's resumption still unclear, it made sense for Rennie to leave early.
