If students involved in Nabua brawl are in the wrong, they will be charged – Tudravu

Police are awaiting the Juvenile Bureau’s assessment regarding the students who were involved in the brawl at Mead Road, Nabua, last Tuesday.

Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says eight students have been rounded up for this incident.

He says if these children are in the wrong, their case will end up in court.

While calling on parents and guardians to take their roles seriously, the Police Commissioner stresses that Police Officers are supposed to be law enforcers, but now they are doing some work that parents should be doing.

Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka has reiterated Tudravu’s message saying students who break the law will be dealt with.

Rabuka calls on parents to talk to their children, and if they don’t do their part, the Fiji Police Force will do theirs.
