The Fiji Rugby Union has not called for a meeting, if they do not call in the next few days, the government will call it.

This was highlighted by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka today in regards to the disgraceful performance of the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s side that are on a 19 tournament losing streak.

Rabuka says sports and rugby form a very important part of Fiji’s international relations, and our own social development.

He says because of this we must have an input into the FRU’s thinking.

Rabuka asks is this our best effort.

The next tournament is in Hong Kong from 5th to 7th April.
