Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama stressed that he wants Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase to be totally out and become irrelevant in Fiji's political future.
In an interview with Australian broadcaster SBS One Dateline, Commodore Bainimarama told Mark Davis that it is now pointless to speak to Qarase.
Bainimarama said Fiji cannot wait twenty years to bring about the required constitutional and electoral reforms.
He also questioned why Australia and New Zealand are opposing the One Man One Vote System which he wants to implement in Fiji.
