Hundreds of people pay last respect to the late Sundip Patel

Hundreds of people from the Fijian business community, family and friends paid their last respect to the Managing Director of CJ Patel Group Sundip Patel, who died on Sunday morning in Suva.

Patel’s cousin and Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel said Sundip was a bold and visionary business leader and was instrumental in the CJ Patel Group's progress over the years.

He added Patel’s passing away is a huge loss to the business community.

Under Sundip’s leadership, the company invested in Fiji Dairy Limited and the company has a diverse business network including Viti Foods, Fiji Sun, SC Foods and Pacific Batteries Ltd.

Patel was also appointed to the Fiji Airways board of Directors recently.

Patel is survived by his wife, three children and his parents.
