A house wife who has never been anywhere since arriving in Fiji from her home land in the Philippines was lost for words when she was informed that she is the lucky winner of a return ticket to Australia thanks to Fiji Showcase 2009 and Pacific Blue.
Dephne Datwin, who stays home with her 9 month old baby boy, said she never imagined she could win a trip to Australia.
Datwin is the second winner of the Pacific Blue ticket, the first being drawn on Day 1 of Fiji Showcase 2009 was Ben Kakauvalu.
A total of 9 people will walk away with a return ticket to either Sydney or Brisbane.
Meanwhile, gates to Fiji Showcase open this hour and looking at the local entertainment on offer today, there will be a special package today for church goers as 3 local gospel bands, Eagles Wings, Sekope Raikoro and Ravula Gospel will perform.
In other entertainment: at 11am, Mr Fungus Mime Show will get underway, at midday, Showcase Mascot Cookie the Clown will have his Crazy Comedy Show, at 12.30pm the Great Gondos where Roberta will squeeze herself into a box and at 1.30pm Canadian James Johnson will have his magical Balloon Show.
