HK 7s:Fiji Men’s 7s loses first pool match 12-0 to Australia

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side have opened their HSBC Hong Kong 7s campaign with a 12-0 loss to Australia in their first pool match tonight.

Australia scored an unconverted try through James Turner in the 5th minute.

Australia led 5-0 at halftime.

The Aussies extended their lead to 12-0 after Henry Hutchison scored a converted try in the 9th minute.

Fiji will play Canada at 12.33 midnight tonight in their second pool match, before taking on France at 5.43pm tomorrow in their final pool match.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s will play Ireland at 3.02pm tomorrow in their final pool match.
