A historic and massive listenership result has been announced for Communications Fiji Limited's five radio stations, Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam following the Tebutt Media Survey.
The independent survey has revealed that 88.5 percent of people surveyed listened to any one of the five radio stations.
CFL Managing Director, William Parkinson said the surveys were conducted in November last year, covering Suva, Lami, Nasinu, Nausori areas and Nadi, Lautoka and Ba, and focused on respondents 14+.
Parkinson said a wider national survey would have delivered even stronger results reflecting CFL's superior transmission coverage.
Parkinson said the CFL team is delighted and he also has a message to the listeners of the five radio stations.
Meanwhile CFL's General Manager, Ian Jackson said CFL is very careful that the five stations target specific sectors of the community with the aim that all combined the stations attract as wider audience as possible, Jackson said clearly this is working.
