Suliasi Vunivalu pleaded with his father for his first pair of rugby boots.

When they were a proud gift, he wore them to bed on the first night.

Vunivalu says he fondly remembers his first pair of boots which was white with a black tick.

The Reds winger says he hasn’t really done anything in union since his debut last year was cut-off by hamstring injuries but wants to prove himself this year as he wants to achieve his childhood goal of playing at the Rugby world Cup.

Vunivalu has been named on the bench for the Wallabies when they take on England in the series-decider at 9.55pm tomorrow.

In other international test-matches, the All Blacks will face Ireland at 7.05pm tomorrow, South Africa will take on Wales at 3.05am Sunday, USA will play Chile at 7am Sunday and Argentina will meet Scotland at 7.10am Sunday.
