Health officials called on to fast

We should start the New Year by fasting.

This is the request from the Health Ministry Permanent Secretary as the Ministry adopts a "God First Strategy".

Dr Salanieta Saketa is calling on all health officials to start a 21 day fast to start the New Year adding that to carry out their jobs properly they need divine intervention and fasting is not a hard task.

Saketa added fasting is also not uncommon in religions.
