The Health Ministry says given the very low number of cases being reported, they are looking at reviewing their COVID safe measures in larger hospitals.

However this will take a while as they have found benefits in terms of space management and infection risk reduction with the COVID safe measures in place.

The Ministry adds they will also need to ensure that they minimise the risk of a COVID outbreak in critical care spaces which cater for many immunocompromised patients.

There are currently 65 active COVID cases in the country.
