Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong confirms there is no outbreak of scabies however, a programme is underway to try and reduce the incidents of scabies.
He says scabies has always been around in Fiji.
Dr. Fong says they started the mass drug administration programme in the North and are now doing it in the Central Division.
He says scabies causes a lot of problems for the Ministry later on.
