Haider hospitalised after knockout loss to Zhou

Fiji’s Featherweight boxer Ubayd Haider has been hospitalized following his 9th round knockout to China’s Runqi Zhou in the IBO Featherweight title contest tonight.

Haider had to be carried out by his team after the fight.

It is believed Haider took too many body shots from Zhou that had him in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, Haider’s brother Sebastian Singh also suffered a 7th round knockout against Tonga’s King Tongotongo in the IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title fight tonight.

The final fight of the night is underway between Fiji’s Winston Hill and Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea for the Asia Pacific IBO Super Welterweight title.
