It was a great experience for 16-year-old Lolohea Naitasi after winning silver for Team Fiji in the Taekwondo Women’s 62kg final at the Pacific Games today.

Naitasi who is originally from Naitasiri says reaching the final was great but she was unfortunate to settle for silver.

She says it is still one of her best records so far especially when it is her first Pacific Games and she dreamed of scooping a medal and having won this silver medal, it is enough to make it a reality.

Meanwhile, Fiji is currently 5th in the Pacific Games medal tally with 13 gold, 17 silver and 17 bronze.

New Caledonia is leading with 63 gold, 41 silver and 39 bronze, while Australia is in second place with 29 gold, 19 silver and 11 bronze.
