The 2025 Suva Grammar School Sapphire Jubilee celebrations was alive last night with the theme “Rumble in the Jungle,” hosting former students from the 2000 decade with DJ Scobs, setting the tone with music from that decade.

Organiser Leone Qalubau says the same one they held last year drew more than 500 people, and a similar, if not larger, crowd turned u last night.

Qalubau says former students rolled in to enjoy drinks, kava, and food, making the night one of connection and celebration for old scholars and friends.

Qalubau also highlighted that last night’s 2010 decade Kava Barrel raised over $11,000, while last night’s event has already collected over $20,000 to support the school and its students.

The Grammar Sapphire Anniversary Celebrations will conclude tonight with the Grand Ball at 6pm at the Vodafone Arena.
