Grammarians gather in numbers for 60th+4 Diamond Jubilee celebrations

Hundreds of people have gathered in numbers to be part of the Suva Grammar School Reign Parade March from the Suva Flea Market to Albert Park which kicks off the school’s 60th+4 Diamond Jubilee celebration.

Malenia Tabua who attended Suva Grammar School from 2007 to 2011 has come with her cousins, siblings, aunts and children to join the celebration this morning.

Tabua says she is expecting to meet up with her friends during the one-week-long celebration.

Tabua is urging and encouraging all former Grammarians to make their way to the celebration to cherish beautiful memories during their school days.

After the parade, a bus will transport people to Suva Grammar School at 1pm for the official opening of the celebration followed by a fun day from 2pm. There will be a Thanksgiving Church Service at the Suva Grammar School hall tomorrow at 3pm.

The Diamond Jubilee celebration will end next Saturday.
