Government may look abroad for a suitable person to take over the position of Commissioner of Prisons.

Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office, Col. Pio Tikoduadua confirmed that Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua is still Commissioner of Prisons until someone is appointed on this position.

He added that they will also look off-shore if they cannot find a suitable person locally.

Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua has been appointed the new Commissioner of Police.
