Man allegedly rapes 10 yr old girl at an evacuation centre

A 20-year-old man who allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl in an evacuation centre in Seaqaqa will appear in the Labasa Magistrates Court today.

Police say the man and the girl are related.

The alleged incident occurred last Wednesday and the matter was reported at the Labasa Police Station.

The man has been charged with two counts of rape.
