Change your stance and assist Fiji.
That is the message to Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard from Fiji's Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama who stressed that he will not give in to any amount of international pressure to have elections before the planned reforms.
Commodore Bainimarama told the ABC that Gillard needs to understand this.
Commodore Bainimarama said the best way he wants to be remembered for is by bringing about a better Fiji for everyone in the country.
Meanwhile, he said there should be concern if former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd takes up a top United Nations post.
Rudd is earmarked for the top UN job.
