Georgia is being lined up to replace Japan and join Fiji in an eight-team tournament in November.

The BBC reports that Japan is set to pull out because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Fiji is pooled with England, Wales, Ireland while the other pool includes Scotland, France and Italy.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer, John O’ Connor says based on ongoing discussions, the Flying Fijians are expected to meet England on 14th November, Wales on 21st November and Ireland on 28th November.

O'Connor says the Flying Fijians last game based on where they finish in the pool would be on 5th December.

There is no official confirmation of the venues and schedules yet.
