Fully vaccinated Fijians can now travel between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

They have to travel by boat or by air with transport companies that are COVID-safe compliant such as FijiLink.

Travellers must register a negative COVID test result on a rapid COVID test before travel.

On arrival, they must immediately enter home quarantine for seven days.

Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong says the only thing they need was for people to be registered before they travelled.

The Prime Minister confirms that from 11th November they will open regular inter-island travel only if vaccination rates continue to rise in the Northern Division and maritime islands.
