89.9% of the adult target population and 24,137 children between the ages of 15 to 17 are now fully vaccinated.

97% of the adult target population and 33,594 children have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This means 555,587 adults are fully vaccinated and 599,918 have received one dose of the vaccine.

Since the last update on Monday, the Health Ministry has recorded 15 new cases of COVID-19 of which 7 new cases were recorded on Tuesday and 8 new cases in the last 24 hours ending at 8am yesterday.

In the past 7 days, 46 cases were recorded in the Central Division, 35 new cases in the Western Division, 1 new case in the Eastern Division and 14 new cases in the Northern Division.

The Health Ministry says Central division cases constitute 71% of the cumulative total cases nationally, with the Western division making up 28% and 1% in the Northern and Eastern Divisions.

They say 14 new cases recorded in the North are quarantine cases that are part of the repatriation program for the Northern division.
