The Ministry of Health is bringing a great opportunity to the people of the Northern Division through its Free Medicine Scheme.

A team from the Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services will be stationed at Labasa Hospital from next Wednesday to Friday, to facilitate registrations for the program.

Health Ministry says eligible individuals, those with a household income of less than $20,000 per year can register for the scheme.

Once registered, people will have access to specific medications free of charge at participating private pharmacies.

This initiative aims to improve healthcare accessibility for those in need, ensuring essential medications reach the most vulnerable communities.
